Sophia Durakis Green is a recent Rhode Island School of Design alum with a fervent love of nature and an unshakable belief in magic. She is an illustrator with a specialty in scientific illustration- in making complex scientific subjects accessible and engaging to all types of audiences. 

In Colorado she can be found getting happily lost in the woods with her dog and painting on rocks with red clay river mud.

She is an experienced teacher in all types of mediums and is available for in person, socially distant lessons in Telluride, CO or virtual lessons and anywhere else in the world! With specialties in painting and drawing, fairy house building and fairy themed projects, mythology, magic and biology she can create an individually driven lesson and help you make your artistic aspirations a reality. She loves working with teenagers in particular and has additional experience providing a happy educational environment for those with challenges such as autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, down's syndrome or chronic illness.
